In the most simplistic terms, I love words. I love that we can string together individual syllables to weave intricate stories, depicting our lives and our loves and our dreams.

“Words are, in my not so humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic,” said Albus Dumbledore. J.K Rowling’s beloved character is spot-on.

I hold a double-major from the University of Victoria in Creative Writing and English Literature. I have written for magazine publications, websites, and blogs, and I have drafted a variety of corporate material including newsletters, correspondence, and social media campaigns. My house is covered in post-it notes, scraps of paper, folders with ideas and snippets of stories, and my brain spends most of her time ruminating.

When I find free time, I enjoy reading, heading to the beach, or enjoying some beers with friends on a patio. I got the taste of traveling, and I can’t wait to get going again!
